OSHO Talk

OSHO:The path of the mystic

① I came to know about Osho through book. And I am very
interested in meditation, but I do not know how to do!

Meditation is similar to love. We cannot learn it by reading
books.
We can start to learn to love when we meet somebody we feel
attracted,
when somebody touches our heart.
Meditation can start when somebody or something touches our
being,
brings us away from thinking, calls out sour inner silence.
It can be a master, a good friend, some tree, the ocean, whatever.
The easiest way is to spend some time meditating together with
friends
who are more rooted in silence. They will infect you with their
silence
without doing anything.

② recently I started to attend osho medtation day. But it didn't
hit me yet.

Maybe you had some wrong expectation - hearing from other people
talking about meditation.
Maybe you did meditations which were not fitting to your present
inner sate.
Maybe the the people didn't fit to what you needed. Everybody has
his own taste.

Everybody needs to find his own way. There are many meditations
we can try and find out, which one fits best.
But it needs also some patience. Osho often suggested to make a
meditation every day for three weeks.
It often needs this much time, because of the necessary changes
inside our body-mind.

Im Poona 1, Osho suggested to stay at least three months in the
ashram to become really able to connect with him,
that the silence can become strong enough. So patience is very
important.

③ I took saniyas in Oregon.
After that I was more involved in work in society away from Osho.
Now I would like to come back to Osho.
How to do?

Once we have been connected with Osho, we will never forget it
completely.
There remains something inside, some hidden connection, some
hiden memories in the heart.
There is nothing special to do about it. Just giving space for
silence, starting to listen to Osho's
Discourse more regularly, doing his meditation, remember to focus
more on inner qualitites:
aliveness, relaxation, silence instead of trying to please other
people.
Taking care to connect more with loving, silent people, looking
for friends who are nourishing the heart.
We need to stay connected with people, with whom we can
communicate from the heart -
if this is missing, then we have to learn first to connect with
trees,
with rocks, with rivers, with sun, moon and the stars.
They are not rejecting.
The moment we start again connecting from the heart, it's easy to
reconnect with Osho.
Listening to a discourse, looking at his picture, holding some
marble form his bedroom --
it will become easy again.

④ I have been continuing osho medtation, but these days it has
become very flat - not having deep touch, learning, discovery
which I had experienced in the Ashram.

This is the normal tendency if we are away form a buddhafield.
It's very difficult to keep this space when we are alone.
When we feel flat, that means probably that natural aliveness is
missing, are that the mind is too overloaded with
unnecessary information, that we are too much concerned with
unimportatnt things, too much concerned about past and future.
When we start being more concerned about what for ourselves, in
the present moment, then there is much more energy available.
We also need enough physical movement, we need to connect more
with the energy of nature to becme more alive.
And when we are more alive, more quiet, then there comes again
the impulse to learn, to go into new experiences.
But aliveness is the first step.

more when I come back from Italy ( next tuesday evening)

love,
Parigyan
